Peru / Corralpampa Geisha Washed 2025 COE #6
~A sweetness reminiscent of ripe fruits like peach, red grape, and lime~
This is a washed process Geisha coffee grown at an altitude of 2,260 meters in the Andes Mountains.
At such high altitudes, the cooler temperatures cause the coffee cherries to ripen slowly, resulting in a smooth, highly flavorful cup.
While Geisha varieties typically feature floral, citrus, and tea-like notes—qualities you can certainly find here—the terroir of these high altitudes adds a ripe fruit character, offering notes of peach, red grape, and lime.
As it cools, the texture becomes more viscous and the sweetness intensifies, reminiscent of sugar syrup or honeycomb candy.
Please take this opportunity to experience this magnificent flavor born from a rare terroir.
Flavor profile
・When hot
PEACH
RED GRAPE
LIME
・When cooled
The sweetness increases, which, combined with the mouthfeel, is reminiscent of sugar syrup.
About the farm
In Peru, coffee is cultivated by small-scale producers on the steep slopes of the Andean mountain range. Incahuasi is a region located in a mountain valley, with farms situated at altitudes ranging from 1,700m to 2,500m—some of the highest in Peru.
The Corralpampa farm is run by Elizabeth, born into a family of 12 siblings, who learned about coffee from her parents.
As a member of the San Fernando Cooperative, her dedication to refining her processing techniques has led to this award-winning result.
Colombia / Peñas Blancas Geisha Washed
~Geisha's signature tea-like quality with unique notes of lavender and mint~
Peñas Blancas is a coffee processing facility established by Johan of Finca Las Flores in the Acevedo region, an area home to many small-scale producers.
By specializing in micro-lots with unique processing, the facility contributes to the quality improvement and development of coffee in the Acevedo region.
The lot we are introducing today is a Geisha variety processed using a washed method that combines aerobic and anaerobic fermentation, aptly named "Floral Symphony."
Enjoy the unique flavors from this special process—reminiscent of lavender and mint—alongside classic Geisha notes of Darjeeling tea, chamomile, and honey lemon, all with a creamy texture.
Please give it a try.
Flavor profile
・When hot
DARJEELING TEA
LAVENDER
HONEY LEMON
・When cooled
Reminiscent of a fruit tea with a hint of mint
・When paired with milk
It tastes like a caramel milk tea; please try it!
About the processing facility
Peñas Blancas is a processing facility founded by Johan of Finca Las Flores to purchase and process cherries from small-scale producers in the Acevedo region.
Small producers often lack their own processing equipment, and despite growing high-quality cherries, they may not always be able to realize their full potential due to a lack of processing knowledge or technique.
This facility was established with the goal of increasing the value of coffee by providing expert processing technology for these small-scale growers.
